We are thrilled to invite you to the 60th Anniversary Queen’s Rose Garden Dedication Ceremony on June 6th, 2025, in our beautiful Queens’ Rose Garden at City Hall! For over 113 years, our city has crowned a queen to serve as an inspiring ambassador, and for the past 60 years, the Huntington Beach Sand Dollars have played a pivotal role in this tradition. Their commitment has empowered young women aged 17 to 26 through scholarships that pave the way for their educational journeys.
Established in 1963, the Queen’s Rose Garden Ceremony honors each Miss Huntington Beach by planting a rose bush of her choice, symbolizing her unique contribution to our community. When the City Hall was envisioned at Main and Yorktown in 1968, the idea emerged to create a dedicated garden where these treasured roses could thrive together. The garden, planted in 1975, has blossomed into a vibrant sanctuary that invites visitors year-round to appreciate its beauty and commemorate our traditions.
Join us in celebrating this significant milestone and the ongoing legacy of our remarkable queens as we honor our 2025 Queen Nicole Vogt on June 6!
